Thousands of dogs are living in shelters and desperately need to be adopted. They live so much time alone waiting for the adopter. So, a kindhearted old lady of 89 years decided to make a gentle gesture to make these dogs a bit more comfortable and warm while sleeping.
Maisie Green has knitted more than 450 sweares and blankets for dogs at the shelter, to help these dogs sleep in a warm place.
The amazing lady at least 3 times a year provides these shelter dogs coats, blankets, and sweaters. Some of her family members help her in making this, they also drive her to the shelter every time she donates the blankets.
“I love knitting and I love dogs, so this combines both wonderfully. It takes me three days to knit a blanket and one day to knit a doggy coat”, “It keeps me busy and often I like to knit whilst watching television.”, Maisie told the Basildon Standard.
Green views this act as a good way to provide back good things to the community.

Dogs Trust is one of the U.K.’s biggest dog rescues and gives many ways for people who want to help to grant care to more than 16,000 stray and neglected dogs annually.
Green’s kindness is a big model of how people can provide help to their society, dog shelters are in constant need of a supporting particularly when they look this cuddly and comfortable.
