Pizza Restaurant Helps Dogs Get Adopted By Putting Their Pictures On Their Boxes

Who doesn’t love pizza? Apparently no one! Pizza is one of the most delicious foods in the whole world. The crusty one with cheese and pepperoni, or the thin one with tomato sauce, cheese, and basil. This dish is everyone’s all-time favorite!

It’s hard to know how to improve such a perfect dish like pizza. Even though a lot of people failed to renew the dish by putting some irrelevant ingredients, some managed to do something more smart and useful.

A pizza restaurant in New York has managed to put one great ingredient to their pizza!

‘Just Pizza’ restaurant created cooperation with the  Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) to encourage pizza consumption and the dogs that are up for adoption.

So, everyone who arrives to get his delicious favorite pizza will be surprised with an adorable dog’s face on the pizza box with his name and information to adopt it.

If the client decided to give the dog a chance, he will be rewarded to get a pizza dish with his new dish for free with  a coupon of $50

Mary Alloy, the owner of the pizzeria, is the one who came up with this amazing idea with her 3 children who are volunteers at the SPCA.

Alloy found that way to help shelter dogs find their forever homes by putting their photos on pizza boxes.

She took permission from the franchise to do this and when they agreed she did immediately.

The best part of the story is the customers’ reactions.

People are in love with the adorable animals. A 6-month-sold puppy was adopted after one day of putting his flyer on the pizza box. Also, restaurant sales increased by 50% after this campaign.
