People can be cruel and abusive. We hurt people and other creatures for no reason sometimes. We also are eviler with animals. It is horrible, yet unfortunately real. Some people even are evil to the point that they don’t love their animals anymore if their age is older or their features changed.
This 17-year-old dog was neglected by his owner as she was ‘too old’. They didn’t want the puppy but after that they regretted it. She got adopted and will participate as a star in the Animal Planet Dog Bowl, an event for senior dogs that will be broadcasted on TV. She will be a famous one among the dogs.

Karlie is almost 18 now, she is a little cheerful dog. Also, she looks very pretty.
When she was 15, her former family abandoned her in a shelter in Florida. They said she is too old. Then, some caretakers took care of her until the director of the animal organization took her.

Laurie Johnson did not know how long she left to live yet they will make sure she should get a great rest in her life, no matter how long it was.
Sadly, Laurie couldn’t take care of the pup forever so they took her to a forever home and after 16 months, Larlie finally met a new loving family.
When she went there, she started to play like a puppy, her spirit was always up and she was always active and cheerful.

Then, Karlie had a chance to join in the Animal Planet Dog Bowl-first edition. Many senior dogs join this event.
After she has joined the event, only 20 minutes were enough for a lot of people to ask to adopt her. All people had seen how a pretty small dog.

All people loved her, yet the Florida couple were the lucky ones to have her at the end.
After the second edition, the couple and their daughters adopted the star dog.
