Dog Brings Home A ‘Puppy’, Turns Out It’s A Bear Cub

One day, a dog brought a puppy to his family in Washington Country as they got extremely surprised after they figured out it’s a tiny bear cub, not a puppy! He weighed around 540 grams, he was malnourished and dehydrated with no mother around.

They immediately transported the cub to the Virginia Wildlife Center. The team placed him in the incubator to start feeding him. “This has been a great example of teamwork in providing for a wild animal,” said Amanda Nicholson, outreach director for the Wildlife Center.
