A Blue Heeler or Australian Cattle Fog, Moose, the Miracle Dog, was brought into the world with a deformed skull, had some of his mind missing, a slanted nose, and an underbite.
These problems turned out to be extremely clear after he was six months old.
Nonetheless, Moose’s obvious appearance made a lady, Jennifer Osborne, decide to get him from a pet store.
Jennifer is glad about her choice to get Moose from the store as she was afraid that something bad might happen to him if she did not take him with her.
“I’m thankful I got him rather than someone who would have abandoned him or put him down. We believe Moose was born this way. We know that Moose’s nose was pushed into his skull which caused the underbite, crooked nose, deformed skull, deformed brain, and eye issues – probably when he was still in the womb.” Jennifer said
Besides his different appearance, Moose also has other conditions.
What other conditions does the Miracle Dog have?
So, Moose has some allergies that appear seasonally. Also, something called “Cherry eyes” a case which the dog tears protrude.
“Moose began having grand mal seizures in April of 2018 – they affect the body and the brain and left his whole body twitching and him foaming at the mouth. At his worst, he had three in 30 hours.” Jennifer added
However, Jennifer could find the treatment that Moose needs. He consumes a low dose of Phenobarbital that has kept grand mal seizures away. But, he’s still suffering from focal seizures that can last for hours.
Therefore, to get the treatment, Jennifer took Moose to have an MRI which indicated that he had missing pieces of his cerebrum, explicitly the piece of the mind liable for the feeling of smell. He additionally had a blister in his mind.
“The front of his brain is squished together too. Only the front area of his brain is affected and his seizures will likely get worse but his neurologist doesn’t believe it’ll shorten his life.’”
Moose is an amazing, loyal, and a miracle dog whatever he went through.
“He is amazing and a blessing on my life” Jennifer said.
“He is the happiest dog I have ever met and I’m thankful he’s my dog. By the way, Moose acts you wouldn’t think his brain had any issues. He is extremely intelligent, has so much personality, and loves everyone especially his momma. He loves to play with his toys but doesn’t understand sharing toys with his siblings. He believes they are all for him. He knows he’s a special boy!” Jennifer added
Jennifer knows that Moose is a survivor and a great fighter after all the pain that he felt throughout his life.
“He is literally a miracle.” Jennifer said
