English Mastiff
Ancestors of modern mastiffs were hunting lions and wild horses. Huge dogs also helped to protect flocks from predators.
Modern English mastiffs can gain up to 150 kg, and not every adult man can compete with these dogs on a scale.
Height of mastiffs at the withers is about 80-90 centimeters, and fortunately, these giant monsters are absolutely devoid of aggression. They are very gentle and friendly.
The heaviest mastiff in the world is named Zorba, and his weight is 156 kg.
