Alabais are used to protect livestock. These dogs developed such qualities as endurance, strength and austerity. However, they aren’t so big as previous giants. The average height of Alabai at the withers is 75 cm, and weight  –    70-100 kg.

Alabais are proud and independent dogs, which are equal to men. It is impossible to force their obedience through violence. If you own Alabai, you must become his friend, and he will be loyal to you till the end of his life.

Alabais don’t like strangers and always protect their home and territory.
